Faisel Laibi

Faisal Laibi studied at the Institute of Fine Arts, Baghdad, in 1967. He went on to earn diplomas from the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts and the University of Sorbonne in Paris, graduating from the Sorbonne in 1981. He was a member of many national and international art groups in including the Society of Iraqi Artists and the French Artists Association. His work is held in collections including Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art, Doha, and Museum of Modern Art, Baghdad.
