Assadour, Petrifications, 1988
Meem Gallery exhibits a collection of prints by Arab modernists; Assadour, Dia Azzawi and Marwan. These unusual works give new collectors the opportunity to secure a modern master through a more approachable medium - with sixties etchings by the late Marwan Kassab Bachi, to vintage silkscreens by Iraqi artist Dia Azzawi and the whimsical hand coloured etchings of Lebanese printmker Assadour.
